The 3M 06396 Automotive Adhesion Promoter is a high-quality product designed specifically for use with 3M Acrylic Foam Tapes. It promotes a permanent bond with most low surface energy plastic materials commonly used in automotive instrument panel interior trim and exterior trim parts. This adhesion promoter works well with LSE plastics, TPO, PPO, PP, PC, and ABS. The liquid primer dries quickly in 30 to 90 seconds, allowing for fast and efficient application. The easy-to-use sponge applicator packet contains .85 oz (2.5 cc) of adhesion promoter, which is enough to cover up to 150 square inches. Additionally, the adhesion promoter can be easily cleaned from most surfaces using MEK or acetone solvents.
